Here we go boys and girls, on show are some of the world’s most daring and thrilling live action stunts and jaw dropping performances here for your viewing pleasure!
Big Boys Toy’s Action Arena is where you will see some of the craziest stuff your mum told you never to try at home.
I’ve got one word for you. Mint!
- Jed Mildon, NZ’s BMX master will be at BBT for his first public appearance in NZ after landing the world’s first TRIPLE back flip in May this year. To realize the true difficulty of this feat for yourself, imagine doing three massively dangerous roly polys one after another, backwards, in the air. Jed is going to attempt another world’s first at BBT – a 60ft leap on a BMX, as well as some other unbelievable tricks, just because we asked nicely. He’s awesome like that.
- Australian BMX legend Dane Searles is heading across the Tasman to be at Big Boys Toys this year, and to try to leap further than Jed on a BMX bike. Also in the BMX freestyle team is another kiwi star – Paul Langlands.
- Demon Energy Freestyle Motocross - No limits, No laws. Demon have found the most thrill seeking Moto X riders, pumped them full of their man sized 500ml can energy drinks, given them an arena and ordered them to go hard!
- Drift king Carl Ruiterman, will present New Zealand’s first Gymhkana car, the Subaru WRX STI for first time at BBT. Carl is set to to show off his extraordinary talents in his Ken Block style Gymkhana car which he has built over the past eighteen months.
- There will be a little bit of sideways action for Drifting fans with some demonstrations from Carl Ruiterman, Sky Zhao and Luke Smith in the drifts cars.
- Big Ben Stunt Utes will also be there for the hottest in V8 Entertainment, the only precision driving team in New Zealand.
- Stunt NZ is represented by Nic “Kruzah” Kroeze. Stunt NZ offers the answer to New Zealand’s thirst for petrol fueled adrenaline stunt riding.
- Nautiques Wakeboarding will have the country’s best on show demonstrating the hottest and most thrilling wakeboard tricks.. on a board… in the wake..
- Insane R.C. Helicopter stunt show. They may be little, but do not underestimate the awesomeness of this show. This is the real deal citizens, in miniature.
- Strongman Competition. One of our favorites at this year’s BBT, check out the massive anvil, farmers walk, atlas stones and Log carrying competitions. These guys pick really heavy stuff up and move it. Super cool. The icing on this cake though is the Truck pull, don’t miss these shows, whatever you do!
